BERKS COUNTY FUND

The Berks County Fund supports Humane Society of Berks County and animal welfare efforts primarily in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

DONOR DESIGNATED FUNDS

Donor designated funds can be created to allow benefactors to direct their Foundation investments to support a specific organization, program or mission.  Humane Pennsylvania Foundation staff and program managers work with donors to develop a plan targeted at solving the problems important to them or supporting the organizations they believe in. Examples include: adoption support, emergency care, and various capital projects. Certain funding requirements may be necessary to endow, name, and/or restrict a fund.


PRIVACY POLICY

Humane Pennsylvania does not share, rent or sell donor information. Donors may elect to be listed as anonymous in annual reports, newsletters, or other donor listings.

DONATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT POLICY

The Internal Revenue Service requires that donors receive a written acknowledgement for any donation over $250. It is our policy that donors receive that documentation for any charitable donation over $10. Because of cost, we will not issue written acknowledgements for donations under $10 unless specifically requested to do so.
