 ADOPTION COUNSELOR (Reading)

The Humane Society of Berks County is seeking a full-time Adoption Counselor to help with intake and adopt out animals, answer phone calls, and counsel prospective adopters. Our Adoption Counselors are also responsible for record keeping, data entry and customer service. Excellent benefits, competitive salary. VETERINARY TECHNICIAN (Reading)

The Humane Veterinary Hospital Reading, Reading PA, is seeking a veterinary technician with excellent small animal care and customer service skills to join the expanding veterinary practice of our award-winning animal welfare organization. Applicants must enjoy working independently, have a friendly personality and superior animal care skills. Saturdays and evening availability a must. Experience required in taking patient history, animal restraint, surgical prep of animals, anesthesia monitoring, x-rays, laboratory testing, sterilization of surgical instruments, medication dosage and administration, venipuncture and catheter placement, laboratory testing and preparation. Excellent client education and customer service skills a must. Spanish speaking a plus!
