Meet Rodeo (240276)

Hi there! My name is Rodeo, and I’m a 13-week-old neutered male Labrador Retriever/Schnoodle mix looking for a calm and patient home to help me gain confidence. With my mix of two great breeds, I could grow to be anywhere between 35 and 80 pounds once I’m fully grown. I’m a shy puppy who’s still getting used to new sights, sounds, and people. I’ll need a gentle family who understands that building trust takes time. A quieter home with consistent routines and positive reinforcement will help me come out of my shell at my own pace. With understanding and patience, I’ll learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.

By adopting me, you agree to help set me up for success through compassion, consistency, and the required training commitment outlined below.

Please note: I will need to grow up in a home with no small children. This is non-negotiable. 

Adopter Agreement

1. Training Commitment: Required

   • Complete four (4) one-hour puppy socialization/training sessions, scheduled once weekly at HPA during normal business hours on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday.

   • And/or attend a puppy training class through an approved outside organization or trainer recommended by HPA.
     Proof of enrollment must be provided within two (2) weeks of adoption, and proof of completion (written or electronic) must be submitted within ten (10) weeks of adoption.

2. Liability Release
   The adopter understands and accepts that HPA cannot be held responsible for any future injury, damage, or loss caused by the adopted animal. The adopter hereby releases and holds harmless Humane Pennsylvania, its officers, employees, and volunteers from any liability or claim related to the puppy’s behavior after adoption.

3. Return Policy
   Should the adopter become unable or unwilling to meet these behavioral or training needs, the adopter agrees to contact HPA to discuss return or rehoming options. The puppy may not be transferred, sold, or given away without written permission from the shelter.
