Sometimes animals come through our doors that are not able to be placed up for adoption. In an effort to save as many lives as possible, we contact outside rescues to assist us. There are times when transport to the rescue is needed. There are also occasions where animals need to be transported between our Lancaster and Berks County shelters. Volunteers will use their own gas and vehicle to transport the animal to the designated area. Directions, instructions, and a crate will be provided by Humane PA. Volunteers will coordinate transport with the shelter’s Operations Director and/or shelter staff.

Care for shelter animals in your home that are not yet ready for adoption. Supplies such as food, litter, crates, etc. are provided by our organization.
