Walk for the Animals

Join us, and thousands of animal lovers across the US and internationally, for the region’s oldest animal welfare fundraising event! In the coming year, we will provide lifesaving care to thousands of animals in need! By participating in the Walk for Animals, you’ll help give each one the second chance they deserve.

This year, we’re thrilled to bring back the Star Wars theme with “The Empire Bites Back.” Grab your furry friends and get ready for a day filled with fun, community spirit, and support for animals in need.

As we reflect and tally up our donation totals from last weekend, we wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of our walkers, sponsors, vendors, and everyone else who supported Humane PA’s 47th Annual Walk for the Animals on Saturday for Star Wars Day!

We were in awe at the crowd’s size and appreciate everyone who braved the rain to join us! Despite the weather, it was a lifesaving success and so much fun! Thanks to our friends at the Fairgrounds and all the amazing new partnerships we’ve created this year, we saved tons of money in expenses, meaning even more funds will go toward our mission. Overall, we raised $70,000 – and counting – for the animals in need!

We’re so excited to share that we have a new 50-State Challenge record – our highest in Walk history! We received Walk donations from 39 of the 50 United States, which officially puts us ahead of our 36-state record!
