Humane Pennsylvania relies entirely on donations and services fees from the community.
We try to make giving easy and fun by having awesome special fundraising events in local communities. We understand you want to support the work we do for the animals in care, but we also know that no one likes going to a boring event!
Below you will find our upcoming event list, and some of them are even pet-friendly! All of these events offer the chance to do good and have some fun all at the same time.
ExtraGive – Friday, November 22, 2024
Support Humane Pennsylvania & The Humane League of Lancaster County during this year’s ExtraGive, a 24-hour giving marathon that supports your favorite Lancaster County nonprofits.
Help us raise $40,000 for animals in need on Friday, November 22! Every donation counts and makes a difference. Together, we can create a brighter future for our furry friends.

Million Pet Meal Challenge (Plus Photos With Santa!)

The No Pet Hungry: Million Meal Challenge is an ongoing, year-round pet food collection competition that benefits Humane Pennsylvania’s Spike’s Pet Food Pantry! Our goal is to provide one million meals to pets in need across Berks & Lancaster counties and beyond! On Saturday, December 7, Humane Pennsylvania will be hosting a big donation drive drop-off day from 9 AM – 4 PM.

- Lancaster Campus – 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602
To make it even more fun, we’re offering Pet & Family Photos with Santa that day as well! Bring the entire family out for a chance to create memories right before the holidays! Pet and family photos with Santa will be from 12 – 4 PM.
Instead of charging for photos, we’re asking everyone to bring a pet food donation in exchange for their photo!

12 Days of Adoptions – December 13 – December 24
Jingle paws, jingle paws, jingle all the way!
Starting Friday, December 13 through Tuesday, December 24, we’re celebrating the paw-liday season with our special 12 Days of Adoptions event!
During this event, adoption fees for cats, critters, and dogs will be waived at our Berks and Lancaster adoption centers, thanks to our generous sponsors for each day!
Visit our Adoptable Pets page to check out the amazing adoptable animals that need a fur-ever home for the holidays, or visit them in person, seven days a week, with adoption hours taking place from 10 AM – 4 PM.
