Humane Pennsylvania relies entirely on donations and services fees from the community.
We try to make giving easy and fun by having awesome special fundraising events in local communities. We understand you want to support the work we do for the animals in care, but we also know that no one likes going to a boring event!
Below you will find our upcoming event list, and some of them are even pet-friendly! All of these events offer the chance to do good and have some fun all at the same time.
3rd Annual Egg Hunt for Pups – Saturday, April 12, 2025
Join us for Humane PA’s THIRD ANNUAL Egg Hunt for Pups! Bring your furry friend to the Danielle Ruiz-Murphy Dog Park for a tail-wagging good time as they sniff out treat-filled Easter eggs!

When: Saturday, April 12 | 11 AM – 2 PM (Rain Date: April 19)
Where: Danielle Ruiz-Murphy Dog Park (503 S. Center Road (Rte. 82), Birdsboro, PA 19508)
Why: Have fun while raising lifesaving funds for animals in our care and community!
How: $10 per dog | 30-minute time slots | Groups of 10 pups per session
Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Caretakers are required to be in the dog runs with their dogs. It is up to the caretaker’s discretion whether or not their dog should be on or off-leash to hunt for eggs, once within the enclosed gated space.
There will be plenty of pawsome prizes for both you and your pup! Don’t miss out—mark your calendars and get ready for a howlin’ good time!
Walk for the Animals – Saturday, May 3, 2025
The Empire Bites Back! Join us for the 48th Annual Walk for the Animals at the historic Berks County Fairgrounds in Reading, PA, on Saturday, May 3, 2025! Last year’s Star Wars theme was a galactic hit, so we’re bringing it back bigger and better!
Whether you’re a Jedi, Sith, or somewhere in between, gather your furry companions and unleash the Force for a paw-some cause.
mini Pints for Pups – May-October
Our mini Pints series takes place every year from April to October at various breweries and wineries throughout Berks and Lancaster counties. All mini Pints dates are outdoors and dog friendly (leashed and well-behaved, please – no incessant barking!) and $1.00 from every drink sold during each event will go directly toward the animals in our care.
Don’t forget to to obtain your mini Pints Pawsport at the first mini Pints for Pups you attend and receive a certified mini Pints for Pups stamp from AT LEAST five different mini Pints locations to receive one free ticket to an exclusive, invitation-only mini Pints for Pups!

Mega Pints for Pups – Saturday, July 19, 2025
Everyone’s favorite dog-friendly beer-tasting event is back! The Mega Pints for Pups will make its return on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 5 – 9 PM at Humane Pennsylvania’s Danielle Ruiz-Murphy Dog Park in Birdsboro (503 S. Center Rd., (Rte. 82) Birdsboro, PA 19508)!
Ticket options include:
- Designated Driver – Perfect for anyone under 21!
- General Admission – includes 75+ samples of beer, wine, and mixed drinks, and a commemorative Pints for Pups glass!
- VIP (Very Important Pinter) – includes 75+ samples of beer, wine, and mixed drinks, access to the VIP area with free, full pours, meal voucher for one of the food trucks, commemorative Pints for Pups glass and poster!
