Spike’s Pet Food Pantry, No Pet Hungry – Now more than ever.

As part of the efforts of the Healthy Pets Initiative, Spike’s Pet Food Pantry is making sure that no pet in Berks or Lancaster County goes hungry or no one has to make the heartbreaking decision to give up their pet because they can’t provide food. We make pet food available to enrolled Berks and Lancaster County residents, regardless of income or economic status – if you need food for your pet, we are here to help!

Spike’s Pet Food Pantry serves pet owners by operating pantry locations at our Community Resource Center and Lancaster Campus.

To enroll:

  • Bring your photo ID to any of our pantry locations and arrive at least 30 minutes before closing time
  • You may print the Enrollment Form and complete it in advance, or complete one at the pantry
  • We will issue you a membership card so you can shop that day for pet food, litter and other supplies
  • Please email us at [email protected] for additional information

Berks CART disaster response has also been activated to mobilize emergency pet food and supplies. Since Berks CART has been activated, we have delivered over 485,000 pounds of pet food to human food pantries, animal shelters and rescue groups within Pennsylvania, including: Berks, Lancaster, Chester, Dauphin, Northampton, Luzerne, Schuylkill, Lebanon, and Tioga counties.

For Berks County Residents
