Meet Benji (239870)
He is a 2-year-old, neutered male, mixed breed. This goofy, high-energy pup is packed with personality and love to give! Benji has grown up with five kids and is incredibly playful—he’s known for his silly play nips and endless zoomies. He does great with adults, too, and has never met a stranger he didn’t want to befriend (though he might bark a little at first).
Benji has spent time around cats and loves trying to play with them—though not all cats appreciate his enthusiasm! He hasn’t been tested with other dogs in the home, but with the right introductions, he could make a fun sibling for a playful pup.
Benji is crate trained (though he’ll bark for a bit), housebroken, and knows his basic commands like sit, paw, and lay down. He enjoys daily walks to burn off some of that happy energy. He pulls a little on the leash and would benefit from some extra training. Car rides make him a bit nervous, but with some patience, he may come around.
He loves cuddles, belly rubs, and all the pets—but loud noises? Not a fan. If he gets bored, he may decide a kid’s toy is his new chew toy, so keeping him entertained is key! Benji would thrive in an active home with older kids (8+), plenty of playtime, and maybe even a doggy friend.
