I’m Stormy! A 3-year-old, spayed female, American Pitbull Terrier. I am a bouncy, silly, sweet girl with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! I have lived with kids (ages 8 & 9), cats, and even rabbits. I love to play, but I can be a little shy at first. Once I warm up, I’m all in for cuddles, treats, and backyard zoomies. I get along great with people, and I walk well on a leash. Car rides? LOVE them. I know how to sit and used to be good in a crate, though I don’t use one anymore. I’m mostly house-trained but still have the occasional accident if I can’t get outside in time.
Health note:
I have a history of skin and ear infections, so I’d do best with daily allergy meds to help keep those under control. Ear treatments can be tricky for me—I will need to be fully sedated to receive certain long-lasting medications in my ears.
My vet also thinks I might have something called brachycephalic airway syndrome, which can make breathing a bit harder. Because of that, I should stay cool in hot weather, use a harness instead of a collar, and might need to see a specialist down the line.
Oh, and I’ve got some dental issues too—my teeth could use a cleaning, and I might need a couple pulled. With the right care and love, I know I’ll feel my best and be your happy, snuggly buddy!
I’d do great in a home that’s patient and loving, where I can be active and also snuggle up when the zoomies are done. If that sounds like you, I can’t wait to meet you!
