Humane Pennsylvania relies entirely on donations and services fees from the community.
We try to make giving easy and fun by having awesome special fundraising events in local communities. We understand you want to support the work we do for the animals in care, but we also know that no one likes going to a boring event!
Below you will find our upcoming event list, and some of them are even pet-friendly! All of these events offer the chance to do good and have some fun all at the same time.

Art for Arf’s Sake Preview Party – Friday, September 27, 2024
In past years, our Preview Party was a secret, invite-only gig just for patrons to catch a sneak peek at the live auction artwork before the general public. This year, we’re flipping the script and opening the doors to everyone—get ready for a whole new vibe! Join us at Reading’s legendary Canal Street Pub on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 6 – 8 PM and enjoy an open bar, mouth-watering street food you’d grab after a late-night show, and punk and new wave live jams from Perfect Strangers. Plus, we’ve got convenient parking for all you punk rockers. It’s gonna be epic!
Art for Arf’s Sake Auction – Saturday, October 12, 2024
On Saturday, October 12, 2024, we’re turning up the volume at our newly renovated Lancaster Campus in Lancaster, PA for Humane Pennsylvania’s Art for Arf’s Sake Auction! This year’s theme is 1977 Punk Rock Revolution and will honor that legacy of creating the kind of change that wrestles music- or animal welfare- to the ground and changes it forever . Dive headfirst into a high-class, low-brow, up-close and exciting live and silent auction featuring mind-blowing art, epic experiences, and killer grub inspired by the 1977 scenes of London, New York, and beyond! Doors open at 5:30 PM.
- General Admission Auction Tickets are $50 each
- VIP Individual Tickets are $75 each
- Patron levels start at $150 and includes inclusion in promotional materials, access to the Preview Party, and reserved seating & preferred parking at the Auction
Pumpkins & Pups – Sunday, October 20, 2024
Are you ready for some pumpkin carvings and pints with your pups?! Join us on Sunday, October 20 from 12 – 4 PM, for a fun day filled with amazing pumpkin carvings and pups at West Reading Tavern (606 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA, 19611)!
Humane Pennsylvania will be on site with merchandise and fall-themed raffles. Exclusively for this event, your four-legged friends will be allowed on the back patio, and pups are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes! We can’t wait to see you there! The best part? $1 from every pint and cocktail purchased will go directly to the animals in our care!
Pet & Family Photos With Santa – Saturday, December 7, 2024
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Join us for Pet & Family Photos with Santa Paws! Bring the entire family out for a chance to create memories right before the holidays! Pet and family photos with Santa are $10 each for the first photo, and $5 for every additional photo. Please also consider bringing a donation of wet or dry dog or cat food in support of Spike’s Pet Food Pantry.
