• Updated rabies vaccinations are required for dogs, cats, and ferrets in digital or paper format. Vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours prior to checking in.
  • Pets from outside of Pennsylvania will require a Certificate of Vaccination and an Interstate Certificate of Veterinary Inspection.
  • You may bring your pet’s regular food and treats to be fed while they visit.
  • You may bring your pet’s favorite bed, blanket or toy for their visit.

Humane Pennsylvania staff and volunteers go through a thorough training program, including hands-on experience, to become very knowledgeable about caring for pets. During training, associates learn about dog and cat behaviors, caring for their specific needs, and how to maintain pet safety.

The health and safety of the pets in our care is our number one priority. Older pets who are in good health may stay at Spike & Tilly’s Pet Resort. Additional bedding and relief walks can be provided upon request.

Humane Pennsylvania keeps detailed records of each pet’s stay. We will provide you a personalized Pawgress Report at checkout detailing your pet’s visit. You can call to check on your pet any time during their stay and we can provide updates.

In most cases, yes! Our century of experience working with all kinds of animals allows us to board pets other places can’t. Spike & Tilly’s Pet Resort has special boarding options for older pets, K9 officers, and pets who are a little cranky. Because we have our very own veterinary hospitals overseeing the wellness of boarded pets, we can also board animals requiring non-life sustaining treatments and medications. Note: Some of these services may have additional charges and requirements. Clients must speak with us prior to boarding.

We’re able to administer many oral and topical medications. Fees may apply. Medications are administered between 9 AM and 5 PM.

  • YES! All pets at Spike & Tilly’s Pet Resort will have access to food and fresh water throughout their visit.
  • You can bring your pet’s favorite food from home, or we’ll provide daily feeding with Spike & Tilly’s favorite pet foods! (Fees may apply)
  • Your pet will be provided meals in their own suite based on the feeding times you provide at check in.
