Welcome to The Thrifty Kitty Thrift Boutique!
The Thrifty Kitty Thrift Boutique is a unique, vintage leaning thrift shop and all proceeds directly benefit the animals and programs of Humane Pennsylvania. It’s where second hand brings second chances!
Years ago, HPA operated an active thrift shop and has been hosting regular yard and thrift sales of donated items for years. Thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers, and the increased popularity in second hand thrifting, we’re excited to bring the thrift shop back!
Stop by and discover unique finds while making a difference for animals in need!
Location: 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602

Donate to The Thrifty Kitty!
Do you have great stuff sitting around taking up space in your house or garage? Donate it to The Thrifty Kitty and convert your junk into saved lives and second chances for animals! Clean, gently-used items of all types are welcome, although The Thrifty Kitty has a soft spot for vintage items. Drop-off times and locations may be limited as the Thrifty Kitty builds its volunteer team so please consider reaching out in advance for larger donations (size or quantity) or to ensure The Thrifty Kitty can accept certain items.
Items that are welcome:
- Vintage and antiques of all types (clean and in fair shape – we like rusty gold, but not old junk!)
- Books, ephemera, comic books, magazines
- Glassware, kitchenware, cookware, etc.
- Records, CD’s, tapes, and other recorded media
- Toys, games, puzzles
- Art
- Collections of all kinds (reach out in advance)
At this time, The Thrifty Kitty cannot accept:
- Furniture
- Mattresses or bedding (clean bedding may be donated to our animal shelters)
- Televisions or electronics
- Clothing
- Any item that is broken or in extreme disrepair
- Other items may be refused at the discretion of HPA staff and volunteers
- High-quality antique or vintage furniture, TV’s, electronics, and clothing may be accepted on a case by case basis with prior verification. Contact The Thrifty Kitty to determine these items can be accepted – do not bring these items without checking first!
