Humane Pennsylvania Renames Lancaster Facility as the Betsy & Ted Lewin Adoption Center for Cats and Critters
We’re proud to announce the renaming of the Lancaster Adoption Center for Cats & Critters to the Betsy & Ted Lewin Adoption Center for Cats and Critters, honoring two extraordinary supporters of Humane Pennsylvania. For nearly 20 years, Betsy Lewin—award-winning illustrator of beloved children’s books like Click, Clack, Moo—and her late husband Ted Lewin, a Caldecott Honor-winning illustrator and former wrestler-turned-author, generously supported Humane PA and our Art for Arf’s Sake Auction with their time, talent, and heart. This dedication is a tribute to their legacy of compassion, creativity, and love for animals.
