Humane Pennsylvania offers year-round internship opportunities in a variety of departments for school credit and professional experience. Training is provided in the form of hands on experience, mentoring with staff & shelter management, and relevant website and research articles. Internships are unpaid and require a minimum time commitment of 10 hours/week for 3 months, and being able to commit to a schedule in advance.

Those currently enrolled in a veterinary college or program are encouraged to apply for our veterinary internships. We recommend that all other internship applicants begin as a volunteer at one of our shelter locations.
