One-Time Group Volunteering
- Opportunities and activities are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on what our current greatest need is
- For the safety of our animals and volunteers, one-time group volunteer opportunities typically do not involve handling, feeding, or caring for shelter animals, as there will not be enough time to complete our required training
- Preference is given to group sizes of 3-10 people
- Groups of 15 or more are welcome to volunteer at our Walk for the Animals or Art for Arf’s Sake Auction
- Groups should reach out at least 30 days prior to ideal service date
- Groups will be asked to fill out & sign our liability and photo release waiver
Long-Term Group Volunteering
- Group commits to volunteering weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly
- First-time volunteering will be a training session
- For every occurrence, the group must include at least one person who was present for a training
- Preference is given to group sizes of 2-6 people
- Each volunteer within the group will need to complete our application and sign the volunteer handbook, which will be provided by the Volunteer Coordinator
School Group Volunteering
- School groups are welcome to volunteer at our Walk for the Animals or Art for Arf’s Sake Auction, host a Donation Drive, or create DIY animal toys.
