The Empire BITES Back.

After the incredible success of last year’s Star Wars-themed walk, we’re excited to keep the adventure alive with EPISODE V: THE EMPIRE BITES BACK! Join the dark side (or the light!) and bring your furry friends for a day of out-of-this-world fun, community spirit and support for animals in need. Whether you’re a Jedi, a Sith, or somewhere in between, this is your chance to show off your galactic gear, connect with fellow animal lovers, and make a lifesaving impact!

Join us on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the historic Reading Fairgrounds in Leesport, PA! This is a family-friendly event and is open to animal lovers! Registration starts at 10 AM, the Walk starts at 11 AM.

All Walkers who register by April 11, 2025 will receive an exclusive, one-time-only 2025 commemorative Walk for the Animals t-shirt!

NEW THIS YEAR – Early Bird Registration Fees:

  • Adult Walker- $25
  • Kid Walker (ages 17 and under) – $15
  • Virtual Walker – $30

Please note, Walker registrations will increase in price after January 31, 2025. Registrations that are made for the Walk after April 11 are not guaranteed a t-shirt or the size you registered for due to limited supply.

Do even more for the animals and form a Pack! It’s the easiest way (and in our opinion, the most fun!) to raise funds for the Walk – rally your pack for a FUNdraising experience you’ll never forget.

Upgrade to VIP Walker status (Very Important Pet-Lover) for $60 with early bird pricing and enjoy access to our family-friendly beer and wine garden, delicious all-you-can-eat picnic buffet, special recognition in our program book, and an exclusive Walk for the Animals dog bandana. Please note, VIP Walker registration will increase to $75 after January 31, 2025.
